TICHE Training in Athens has been successfully concluded!
From October 19th to the 22nd, by AUEB has been organized an enlightening TICHE Academy (Training Innovation for Circularity and Holistic economies) 4-day training event held in Athens. Here’s a quick recap of the valuable insights and experiences from this incredible journey:
- Day 1: Hosted at the "Athena" Research and Innovation Center, Prof. Dr. Phoebe Koundouri delved into the Financial, Social, and Environmental aspects of Sustainability. Followed by an introduction to stakeholder engagement by Dr. Ebun Akinsete and an intriguing presentation on the Fishbowl strategy by Lydia Papadaki
- Day 2: Held at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Dr. Konstantinos Dellis explored "Green Innovation and Industrial Policy," and Dr. Conrad Landis discussed "ESGs and SDGs Acceleration and Quantification." The day also featured discussions about the TICHE Academy Pilots
- Day 3: Participants embarked on an enriching excursion to Lavrion Technology Cultural Park, with insights into its history and a visit to the Hydrogen building and Energy-driven Bio refinery demo plant, showcasing cutting-edge sustainable technologies
- Day 4: Back at the Athens University of Economics and Business, TICHE Partners discussed the delivery of Multiplier Events in their respective countries. Argyro Zisiadou presented on "Market reactions to unexpected events and environmental hazards."
The knowledge and experiences gained during this training will be instrumental in our forthcoming TICHE initiatives and local multiplier events happening in Greece, Germany, Italy, France, Ireland, and Finland until April 2024.
